Films: Indigenous (2014)
Alias: None
Type: Natural
Location: Jungle
Height/Weight: That of an average human.
Affiliation: Neutral
Summary: Alright, so you had your fill last year with a more unconventional Chupacabra. Well, now we go back to basics...sort of. Really, you could say this was a standard savage vampire tale, and we'd believe you.
History: Deep within the uncharted jungles of the Darian Gap of Panama, they say a monster lurks. It is El Chupacabra, a vampiric being that will kill anything it can get its hands on. Naturally, a bunch of young explorers don't listen, and venture there anyway. Can't say no one warned them.
Notable Kills: Nothing special.
Final Fate: For once, filming the whole thing is actually worth a damn, and a rescue team comes to save the survivors from the monster. They arrive just in time to shoot it to death.
Powers/Abilities: Its tongue acts as a proboscis to suck blood with.
Weakness: Anything conventional.
Scariness Factor: 4-Having a feral humanoid lurking in the jungle is a bad enough scenario. But factor in a nightmare face and a thirst for blood, and you've got yourself a huge piece of work. Also, it won't kill you instantly. It'll just store you for later, sometimes.
Trivia: -The cast and crew had to carry all of the equipment through the Panama jungle. The director thankfully credited them for all of it.
-In the cave entering scene, you can see one of the cameramen trying to hide behind a light.
